COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING
IIAE provides excellent theory and practical facilities for the Computer Science & Engineering (CS) offered by the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication
Engineers (IETE), which is recognized by Ministry of Scientific Research and Cultural Affairs (Now in HRD Ministry), Government of India vide
notification no. F. 18.62.57.T.5 dated 24 June 1959. Besides Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recognized technical and professional qualification
of IETE for the purpose of admission to the IAS etc. and other examinations conducted by UPSC for recruitment to non technical service and posts under
Central Government vide letter No. F. 17/2/76 (B) dated 31 December 1977. The UPSC has decided that professional and technical
qualifications such as a pass in section A and B of the AMIETE Graduateship Examination of IETE etc.
which are recognized by the Government of India, as equivalent to degree in engineering for the purpose of recruitment to superior services/posts under the
Central Government and admission in competitive examinations conducted by them for recruitment to non - technical services / posts i.e. Assistant Grade and
Combined Defence Service Examination.
ELIGIBILITY:
For getting admission in Computer Science & Engineering (CS) a candidate should meet eligibility criteria of Institution of
Electronic & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) i.e. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and a minimum age 16 years.
