ELECTRONIC & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
IIAE provides excellent teaching and practical facilities for the electronic & telecommunications engineering offered by Institution of Electronic & Telecommunication (IETE),
which is recognized by Ministry of Scientific Research and cultural Affairs (Now in HRD Ministry), Government of India vide notification no. F. 18.62.57.T.5 dated 24 June 1959. Besides Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recognized Technical and professional qualification of IETE, for the purpose of admission to the IAS etc. and other examination conducted by UPSC, for recruitment to non technical service and posts under Central Government vide letter No. F. 17/2/76 (B) dated 31 December 1977. The Union Public Service commission have decided that professional and technical qualifications such as a pass in section A and B of the AMIETE Graduateship Examination of Institution of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineers etc. which are recognized by the Government of India, as equivalent to degree in engineering for purpose of recruitment to superior services/posts under the central Government and admission in competitive examinations conducted by them for recruitment to non - technical services/post i.e. Assistant Grade and Combined Defence Service Examination.
ELIGIBILITY:
For getting admission in Electronic & Telecom (ET) a candidate should meet eligibility criteria of Institution of Electronic & Telecommunication (IETE) i.e. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and candidate age should be minimum 16 years.
